It's not that the English announcers are necessarily automatically brilliant though, as I'm sure you'll agree. I'm sure you've seen enough football to know that they can be annoying as well. As an aside, the UEFA Super Cup voice track (good commentating, with pertinent facts) was again ahead of the visuals. "The ball's gone out for a goal kick," he says, and then an second later we see the ball go out. This may not be FSC's fault; perhaps the package of sound and images comes together?? I and all of my soccer loving friends could at least turn to SSP to give us something to talk about ....the Gary Richards comments .....but now....I cant even stay away past the first 10 minutes......bring back Andy Houlihan and Gary Richards PLEASE......the show had something then.
